| Until 1991, when she moved to New York,
Luba Lukova lived and worked under the Communist regime in Bulgaria.
Since then she has contributed more than 200 drawings to the New
York Times and other clients including Adobe Systems, Sony Music
and Verve Records. Lukova is best known for her hard-hitting yet
beautiful poster design. She has won many awards, including the
Gold Medal at the Mexico Poster Biennale and the ICOGRADA Excellence
Award in Chaumont. Most recently, Lukovas poster, Peace, won
the Grand Prix Savignac at the International Poster Salon in Paris. |
