| Brenda Laurel has worked in the area
of human-computer interaction for 25 years for companies including
Atari, Activision, Epyx, Apple and Interval Research. She was the
cofounder of Purple Moon, a transmedia company devoted to girls,
and was the editor of The Art of Human-Computer Interface Design
(1990 Addison-Wesley) and author of Computers as Theatre
(1991, 1993 Addison-Wesley) and Utopian Entrepreneur (2001
MIT Press). Laurel is currently a consultant, designer, researcher
and graduate faculty member at the Art Center College of Design. |
